Give your waiting staff an Android ordering companion connected to the Restozio Windows PC over your restaurant’s Wi-Fi.
A companion for the dining floor
The waiter app is designed for dine-in service. Staff can see tables, open a table order or join one already in progress, then add dishes with quantities and preparation notes.
Viewing an available table does not make it occupied by itself. The order starts with the first dish. This helps the floor view reflect active service instead of counting every table a waiter briefly opened on the phone.
Pair phones with the counter PC
Enable the waiter app from the Windows administration workspace, create a name and password for each waiter, then pair an Android phone using the one-time QR code.
The phone and PC must be on the same local Wi-Fi network and able to reach each other. Isolated guest networks can prevent that connection. Each waiter signs in with their own credentials after the phone is paired. Ask for help checking this setup during your walkthrough.
Send kitchen tickets from the floor
Once dishes and notes are entered, the waiter can send a KOT through the PC to the kitchen printer. The menu’s KOT inclusion setting determines which items need preparation.
Waiters can update dishes that have not yet been sent, while dishes already communicated to the kitchen have restrictions. A ticket can also be reprinted when another copy is required. These boundaries help staff take orders without losing track of work already underway.
Keep settlement at the counter
The companion app focuses on table orders and kitchen communication. Payment settlement, discounts and customer bill printing remain at the counter. Takeaway and delivery orders also stay in the main billing workspace.
This division gives the floor a focused interface while preserving counter control over the bill. During a demo, follow an order from a paired phone to the kitchen ticket and then to the Windows settlement screen to see how the team works together.

Can I use the Android app without the PC?
The waiter app is a companion to the running Restozio Windows PC. It connects over the restaurant’s local network.
Can waiters collect or settle payments in the app?
No. Billing and settlement are counter actions. The waiter companion handles dine-in orders, notes and kitchen tickets.
